How Yoga can Help you Control your Thoughts

Hi David,

Many people experience stress, fatigue and depression,
among many other afflictions. Though common, they have a
huge impact on the lives of people who suffer from them.

They can cause difficulty in relationships, poor work
performance and lead to other problems like drug use,
alcoholism and suicide. Yoga can be a great tool in
treating all of these problems.

Yoga promotes self awareness, which can greatly increase
our understanding of our own minds and bodies. Once were
able to focus in on whats really going on with us and
whats causing it, were able to do something about it.

Yoga also provides the means to control stress, energize
the mind and body and foster self confidence and
self esteem.

Through breathing yoga allows you to cleanse your mind,
relax, focus and rejuvenate yourself. The slow, deep
breathing is an easy first step. Its also a very
useful tool when youre not at home and find your mind
becoming cluttered.

Rythmic breathing also increases serotonin levels
and endorphins, which is essential in being calm and
relaxed.

Often times its a bad experience in life that sets
the wheels in motion that lead to excess stress which
can cause fatigue and ultimately end up in depression.

Although yoga is not an overnight cure, the process of
regaining control of your mind, body and life can come
sooner rather than later if you dedicate yourself to
practice.

Yoga is not only a means of exercise and meditation,
but also a lifestyle. For many people, the yogic
lifestyle has provided a new way of living life that
allows them to be stress free, happy and healthy.

This incorporates not only the poses and meditation
but also a yogic diet and the principles of yoga that
allow people to not only be good to themselves but
also good to others.

Yoga is a great tool for controlling your thoughts.
Whether its a momentary occurrence of fear or anger
or an ongoing stress in your life, the practice of yoga
can provide you with the means of taking control of
your thoughts.

Warm Regards,
